On 21 December 2021, the 28th district of Agreeland was annexed and added. Nemahahaki, was annexed from the United States so that the U.S. state of Missouri would cease to have any territory. The district was formerly known as Northern Missouri, being renamed to Northern Niuachi on 26 July 2023, then being renamed again to Nemahahaki on 1 April 2024.
The flag of Nemahahaki was designed on 1 April 2024. The flag is a modified version of the Sac and Fox tribe’s flag who live in the area.
The former flag of Nemahahaki was flown before the district was named Nemahahaki, being adopted on 11 August 2022. The main field of blue represents the waters of the Mississippi River.
