Currency of Agreeland

Agreeland has two official currencies.
The U.S. dollar (USD) is one of them, used for convenience as Agreeland is surrounded by, as well as most of Agreeland’s land is occupied by, the United States of America.
The Agreeland auri is the other of them. It is the true currency of Agreeland. The auri does not exist in reality and is currently only planned currency for Agreeland.

The auri is pegged to the USD at a rate of 1 auri = 2 USD.

The word “auri” is derived from the Latin word for gold, “aurum.” The auri is divided into 100 cents.

The U.S. dollar has been an official currency of Agreeland since Agreeland was formed. The auri was created and made an official currency on 20 June 2025.

Note that all information and images about the auri are subject to change as physical coins have yet to be made and designs finalized.
The auri does not currently have any banknotes.

One cent coin

The one cent coin (1c) is made of steel, and coated with copper. The edge is smooth. It is 18 mm in diameter and 1.35 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “one cent,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and a sunflower, the official flower of Agreeland and a common symbol of the nation.

Two cent coin

The two cent coin (2c) is made of steel, and coated with copper. The edge is smooth. It is 19 mm in diameter and 1.5 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “two cents,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and the western meadowlark, the official bird of Agreeland.

Five cent coin

The five cent coin (5c) is made of cupronickel. The edge is smooth. It is 21 mm in diameter and 1.95 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “five cents,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and a design of every region of Agreeland’s major city (or in Niuachi and Quapaw’s case, cities.)

Ten cent coin

The ten cent coin (10c) is made of cupronickel. The edge is ribbed. It is 20 mm in diameter and 1.9 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “ten cents,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and the Ad Astra statue, placed on the top of the Historical Capitol building in Topeka, Shawnee District.

Twenty cent coin

The twenty cent coin (20c) is made of brass. The edge is ribbed. It is 24 mm in diameter and 1.75 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “twenty cents,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and an American bison, another national animal of Agreeland.

Fifty cent coin

The fifty cent coin (50c) is made of brass. The edge is ribbed. It is 23 mm in diameter and 3.15 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “fifty cents,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the shield of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and a map of Agreeland with the flag of Agreeland inside.

One auri coin

The one auri coin (1A) is bi-metallic, with an outer ring of brass and an inner ring of nickel. The edge is waved. It is 27 mm in diameter and 3 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “one auri,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the coat of arms of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and another sunflower, with the number one.

Two auri coin

The two auri coin (2A) is bi-metallic, with an outer ring of nickel and an inner ring of brass. The edge is waved. It is 31 mm in diameter and 2.8 mm thick. On the obverse is the words “two auri,” “Agreeland,” and the year, as well as the coat of arms of Agreeland. On the reverse is motto of Agreeland, and a rocket lifting off, with the number two.
