On 11 August, 2025, an IGN article titled “Game Fans (And Trolls) Are Racing To Claim Pixels in Wplace” saw an appearance of Agreeland. The article contains an image of Kansas City on the popular game Wplace, where Agreeland has made several impressions. In the image (seen below) two Agreeland flags can be seen. Citizens of Agreeland rejoiced in noticing this as any recognition or appearances of Agreeland outside of the little community is incredibly rare.
While the spotlight is put on the Agreeland flags, the flag of Kansas City District and Kansas City itself is also seen in the article’s image. This was also a creation made by citizens of Agreeland, who were elated to see that in IGN’s article as well.
Although no direct mention or allusions to Agreeland were made in the article, an Agreeland flag being published in a popular online news source is a major deal for our little nation.
